Kevin Freund was born in central Massachusetts in the mid 1970’s.
Kevin’s academic and professional background are in large scale computer engineering and operations, specifically in the areas of network transfer optimizaton, security/cryptography, large storage clusters, and advanced digital media. Kevin was one of the original developers of MySpace, later branching out to run all of MySpace’s digital media engineering and operations.
He is an expert and designing and building infrastructures that are not only high performance, but highly fault tolerant as well. Kevin has travelled all over the world for business, leading the digital media industry in knowledge, creativity and professional drive.
Kevin lives in Southern California with his wife Kim, children Isaac and Lindsay, and dog Ty. The Freund family loves to go to the beach with beach hound Ty, spend time at Disneyland, and enjoy friendships in and outside of the wonderful Jewish community in the West San Fernando Valley.
